Alhaji Musliu Ayinde Akinsanya, widely known as MC Oluomo and president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), has stirred conversations online after a video of him surfaced from an outdoor rally.
In the clip, MC Oluomo was seen dressed in APC-themed clothing and a fez cap bearing President Bola Tinubu’s signature insignia alongside the “4+4” symbol. He was captured distributing ₦5,000 notes to individuals lined up before him, with recipients happily collecting the cash.
The video began circulating on social media just days after MC Oluomo delivered a speech at the NURTW Zone 4 Zonal Delegates Conference held in Ilorin on Wednesday, January 17.
Reacting to the footage, Nollywood actor Emeka Nwagbaraocha took a sarcastic swipe, praising MC Oluomo as a “kind-hearted man” for personally supervising the distribution of the ₦5,000 notes to ensure fairness and prevent any form of cheating.
He wrote:
He even gave it to them himself, so nobody will cheat them. A very kind-hearted man.”
