Nigerian singer Chike has stirred conversations after revealing the relationship advice his mother has repeatedly given him.

He shared that his mother made it clear he shouldn’t get carried away by emotions and ignore whether a woman is productive or not. For her, it’s not about appearances or pretending to be busy, but genuinely having something going on.
He added that being with someone who isn’t contributing can come with extra responsibilities, as a person may end up carrying more weight than expected in the relationship. He also pointed out that situations where a partner has heavy family responsibilities without being financially stable can increase that burden.
