Nigerian striker Terem Moffi made his debut for FC Porto in Sunday’s 1–0 Primeira Liga victory over CD Nacional.

Moffi, who joined Porto on loan from OGC Nice during the January transfer window, came on in the 74th minute as the visitors held on to a narrow lead to claim all three points.

Bednarek Header Settles It

After controlling possession for much of the first half without breaking through, Porto finally made their dominance count in the 60th minute. Defender Jan Bednarek rose highest in the penalty area to head home his first league goal for the club.

Nacional pushed forward late in the game in search of an equaliser, but Porto’s defence stood firm to secure a clean sheet and hand the hosts their 11th league defeat of the season. The loss leaves Nacional just four points above the relegation zone.

Title Charge Gathers Momentum

The victory marked Porto’s 19th win in 22 league matches this season. They now sit seven points clear of second-placed Sporting CP, although the reigning champions still have a game in hand.

Beyond the result, Moffi’s introduction was a key talking point. The 24-year-old has arrived to bolster the squad following the injury to first-choice striker Samuel Aghehowa and will be hoping for more minutes as he settles into the team.

Porto return to league action next Sunday when they host Rio Ave FC.
