A user on X has set social media buzzing after revealing the staggering amount he claimed to have spent on a lady in just one night.
The user, identified as @SpicyChoco, disclosed that he splashed over ₦8.4 million on the unnamed woman in a bid to impress her. To back up his claim, he shared a receipt detailing the purchases made during the outing.
According to him, the lavish spending wasn’t just for her alone, as she reportedly took some of the items home for her family and friends.
“This night man. Spent 8.4m naira in 1 night because I wanted to impress her..😔 She took some home for her families and friends 💔,” he wrote.
The tweet, which has since racked up over 100,000 views, quickly drew a flood of reactions from other users, many of whom questioned the authenticity of the claim.
One user, Not Yours, mocked the post, writing: “With your ceiling board and 100 yrs old fan you even get 80k to spend for one month? 😹”
Another user, Clarke, pointed out an alleged inconsistency, saying: “Y’all check the time this was posted and then check the time on the receipt. Doesn’t tally.”
