A Nigerian soldier has shared an emotional message online, expressing deep frustration and sorrow over the constant loss of fellow troops to kidnappers, bandits, and Boko Haram insurgents across the country.
In a viral video posted on X by user @General_Somto, the soldier spoke about the pain of watching brave men die while risking their lives daily to protect Nigerians.
“We are losing our gallant men every day to kidnappers, bandits, Boko Haram. Ahhh… God, you’re our last hope and Savior. Please don’t let us regret the oath we took,” he said.
The soldier revealed that many of his colleagues have been killed in the line of duty while confronting criminal gangs and terrorist groups in different parts of the country.
His heartfelt message called for divine intervention, as he described the situation as deeply painful for soldiers fighting on the frontlines.
Despite the sacrifices made by security forces, attacks by insurgents and armed groups linked to Boko Haram continue to affect several communities across Nigeria.
The emotional appeal has since resonated with many Nigerians online, sparking calls for stronger support for the military and prayers for soldiers risking their lives to keep the country safe.
