A woman’s story about a heartbreaking encounter with her “talking stage” has captured the attention of social media users.
The lady, @ARIAREIGN180683 on X (formerly Twitter), shared that she met the man through her cousin’s sister.
Generous gestures in the early stage
According to her post, within just two weeks of meeting, the man took her shopping, sent gifts, transferred money, and even replaced her phone. She wrote:
“He was so fine, rich, and generous. We started talking stage. He would always take me shopping, eat out with me, send me money, gifts, and even changed my phone. All this went on for 2 weeks. Bro has spent over 3 million on me.”
Trip to Abuja
The talking stage later invited her to his residence in Abuja, covering her flight, a new outfit, and a hairdo. Upon arrival, they went shopping and clubbing, enjoying the night together.
Things took a sudden turn later that night. She shared:
“We kissed for a while and he kept touching me, so I told him I was a virgin and wasn’t ready for sex. Could you believe this boy asked me to pack my things and leave his house? That was 12:30 a.m. Luckily, his neighbor let me stay over and sleep there for the night.”
The next day, he drove her back to the airport to return to Lagos.
In an unexpected twist, he later contacted her cousin’s sister, who insulted him and blocked him after collecting ₦500,000, which they reportedly split.
