A young woman has ignited fresh conversations online after openly questioning whether men have become afraid of marriage.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the visibly emotional lady expressed frustration over her repeated experiences with men who, according to her, seem unwilling to commit.
“Are Men Now Scared of Marriage?”
In the clip, she repeatedly asked, “Are men now scared of marriage? I don’t understand. Are men now scared of marriage? Are men now scared to settle down?”
She said she has been open about her desire to get married but has yet to attract the kind of serious commitment she hopes for.
“How can a fine young girl like me come out boldly and say I want to marry? I can give money, I can give a car, I can give land. What I’m seeing, I don’t even understand,” she said.
Addressing a common piece of advice she often sees online — encouraging women to “choose from the comment section” — she questioned its practicality.
“The people I’m meeting — you people that always say, ‘choose from the comment section’ — the ones I’m meeting, are they not from the comment section?” she asked.
Complaints About Dishonesty
The young woman also expressed frustration over what she described as dishonesty in her dating experiences.
“Let me know what is going on. Anybody I meet, they end up lying. Lies, ahn ahn, I don’t get it,” she said.
She insisted that financial status is not a determining factor for her when it comes to choosing a partner.
“A young, fine girl like me — what else are you looking for that I don’t have?” she questioned. “I said I don’t care whether you have money or you don’t have money. We can make the money together.”
“We will start somewhere and build together. Is that hard? Why are men now scared of marriage? What is going on?” she added.
