Fresh controversy has erupted after the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) publicly distanced itself from a viral medical report linked to Blessing CEO.
The report, which circulated widely online, allegedly claimed that the social media personality was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. However, the NMA has firmly denied any involvement, stating that none of its members issued such a report in her name.
According to the association, the document in question was originally produced by Xinus Medical Diagnostics and signed by a consultant pathologist. But rather than belonging to Blessing CEO, the report was said to have been issued for a completely different patient.
The NMA explained that the test was conducted in May 2025 following a request from a doctor at a private hospital in Asaba. The result, dated May 9, 2025, reportedly belonged to another individual and was properly delivered through official medical channels.
What has raised more concern, however, is the version currently circulating online.
The association alleges that the document appears to have been altered and falsely linked to Blessing CEO, creating confusion and sparking public reactions.
As a result, the NMA has called on security agencies to step in and investigate the situation, stressing that the integrity of medical professionals must be protected.
The body also warned Nigerians to be cautious about sensitive health claims shared on social media, especially when they involve serious conditions like cancer.
With the situation still unfolding, the controversy has triggered heated debates online — raising questions about misinformation, accountability, and the growing influence of social media narratives.
