Rapper Offset, former member of Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos, is in stable condition after being shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida on Monday.

The incident occurred in a valet area, and authorities confirm two individuals have been detained as investigations continue. Offset is currently receiving treatment in a hospital and is being closely monitored, according to his spokesperson. Police assured the public that the site is secure and operations at the casino are continuing as normal.

Tragic Echoes of the Past

Offset’s fellow Migos member, Takeoff, tragically died at the age of 28 in 2022 after being shot outside a Houston bowling alley. The accused, Patrick Clark, has maintained his innocence and is set to face trial in November.

Career Highlights

Migos rose to global fame with their 2013 hit Versace and later earned Grammy nominations for Best Rap Album (Culture, 2017) and Best Rap Performance. The group is also known for chart-topping hits like Bad and Boujee (with Lil Uzi Vert), MotorSport (with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B), and Walk It Talk It (with Drake).

Offset was married to musician Cardi B, with whom he shares three children. The couple secretly tied the knot in 2017 in Atlanta, but Cardi B announced in 2024 that she had filed for divorce.

The details surrounding the shooting remain limited, but authorities and Offset’s team continue to provide updates as the investigation unfolds.
