A Nigerian mother has sparked online reactions after placing a phone call to her 16-year-old daughter’s boyfriend, issuing a stern warning for him to stay away from her child.
The conversation was shared on TikTok by the mother’s elder daughter, identified as @amaka57740, bringing the exchange to public attention.
In the now-viral TikTok video, the boy—initially unaware that his girlfriend’s mother was on the call—admitted that the girl had informed him of her age.
The mother, however, firmly warned him to stay away from her daughter so she could focus on preparing for the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examination.
“Allow Joy to write her WAEC safely. Allow Joy to focus on her education. I take God beg you. This is last warning I’m going to give you again”. She firmly stated.
