A viral video has ignited discussion online after Pastor Kayode made bold claims about giving, wealth, and financial discipline among Christians. Speaking during a sermon that has since circulated widely on social media, the pastor linked consistent financial giving to spiritual growth and prosperity.
On Criticism and “Kingdom Economy”
Pastor Kayode addressed people who question pastors online, warning against negative influences from social media.
“To give convenience seed, maybe you read a lot of junks online. You follow some people who just criticise pastors. People who don’t understand kingdom economy.”
He claimed his ministry carries a unique spiritual assignment:
“I am among the few pastors on earth with the oil of raising billionaires. If you don’t rise up, listen, if you don’t rise up to be a covenant practitioner, begging will be unlimited. It is the amount you give, how you give it, when you give it.”
Giving, Discipline, and Financial Faith
The pastor emphasised consistency and timing in giving as key indicators of a believer’s commitment to God.
“Those two things, how you give it, when you give it, the consistency that demonstrates your heart for God. Giving is one of the authentic ways you demonstrate your love for God. So you’re giving, make sure your love for God.”
He further stressed that financial behaviour can influence life outcomes:
“If you want to know how somebody loves, check the way the person gives. Financial unfaithfulness is the reason for lack. In the life of a lot of Christians, I showed you last week, cases that follow non-titles, it has been examined. It has been proved. The life of tithers is ten times more productive than the life of non-tithers.”
