“I’m Only Human”: King Mitchy Breaks Down in Tears Following Relentless VDM Backlash

Popular Nigerian influencer King Mitchy has broken down in tears in a recent video making the rounds online, expressing deep emotional pain over the backlash she has received amid her ongoing dispute with VeryDarkMan.
King Mitchy and VeryDarkMan’s ongoing feud
The tension began after King Mitchy publicly called out VeryDarkMan over what she described as a delay in utilizing donated NGO funds. She had referenced her own experience of renovating a school within six days, urging him to take similar action or allow others to help supervise the project.
However, her comments sparked heavy criticism from many Nigerians on social media, with some accusing her of attacking or disrespecting the activist.

King Mitchy cries out
In the emotional video, Mitchy said she feels unfairly targeted and judged despite her long-standing efforts to support people in need. She lamented that many seem to have forgotten the charitable work she claims to have consistently carried out, including giving financial assistance and helping people move out of difficult living conditions.
Fighting back tears, she expressed how overwhelming the criticism has been:
“I wish I can just get sn!p€r, so this pa!n can go away… With all my efforts, it’s just like they forgot everything I have done. Everybody is att@ck!ng me as if I’ve never done anything. Every morning I wake up to give people money, help them come out from the slum. Even when I’m not fine, I still go out to do it.
But everybody is insulting me just because I said, ‘Bro, get to work. If I can do this in 6 days, you can do more.’ Even if you’re busy, I can help you supervise it. Nigerians forget everything I’ve done. Even money I’m supposed to use for my business, I give it to strangers. It’s like I’m now a bad person just because of one man.”
Her emotional outburst has since generated mixed reactions online. While some supporters have expressed sympathy and encouraged her to stay strong, others maintain that public figures should expect criticism when engaging in online disputes.
The situation continues to fuel conversations about accountability, public perception, and the pressures that come with being a social media personality in Nigeria.
