A TikTok user has shared a shocking encounter that has left social media buzzing. The lady, known as @Thriftbalesinibadan, recounted how a routine washing of second-hand clothes—popularly called ‘okrika’—almost ended in disaster.
According to her, she had just received a batch of cotton blouses and denim dresses. While rinsing a cotton blouse, she spotted a giant scorpion lurking in the water.
“I’ve never seen a scorpion that big in my entire life! I had already rinsed two clothes before I noticed it,” she said, visibly shaken in her video.
She added that the clothes she was washing were only cotton dresses and blouses, which require delicate handling to achieve that smooth, ironed effect.
