Nigerian singer Candy Bleakz has revealed that a content creator identified as “Kolu” was arrested in the United Kingdom following an incident at the airport.

In a video shared online, the singer explained that Kolu had travelled to the UK under her sponsorship. She said she had repeatedly warned him about the importance of strictly complying with travel rules, stressing that any violation could have serious consequences for her.

According to her, the issue began while they were preparing to board a flight and Kolu reportedly realised he could not find his passport. She said she urged him to remain calm and properly report the situation to airport authorities.

However, she alleged that he became confrontational instead of cooperating, which led to his arrest and detention.

Candy Bleakz disclosed that she had been at the police station trying to explain to authorities that Kolu may not have fully understood the gravity of the situation, but her efforts to secure his release were unsuccessful.

She also expressed concern that he could face deportation, warning that such an outcome might negatively affect his travel record.

In her words:

“I made sure I told Kolu that he was flying to the UK under my name, and if he didn’t return to Nigeria, it would have a huge effect on me. When we wanted to board, he couldn’t find his passport. I told him to calm down and check properly. If he couldn’t find it, we needed to communicate with the authorities.

Instead, he started fighting. I kept telling him to calm down, but he didn’t listen. He seemed to think it was Nigeria. They took him to the station. I’ve been there trying to explain that he may not have understood, but they refused. I don’t want them to deport him because that could damage his passport.”

The incident has since drawn reactions online, with many social media users weighing in on travel responsibility and conduct abroad.
