Terem Moffi scored his first goal for FC Porto after coming off the bench in a 3–1 Liga Portugal victory over FC Arouca on Friday night.

The 26-year-old forward, who joined Porto on loan from OGC Nice in January, was introduced in the 62nd minute and capped an impressive team display with a late goal to seal the club’s third consecutive league win.

Early control and late drama

Porto made a blistering start, with youngster Oskar Pietuszewski finding the net just seconds into the match to give the hosts an early advantage.

However, Arouca fought back and drew level in the 70th minute through Nais Djouahra, setting up a tense finale.

With the game seemingly heading for a draw, substitute Seko Fofana won a crucial late penalty. William Gomes stepped up and calmly converted with a precise left-footed strike to restore Porto’s lead at 2–1.

Moffi seals the victory

Deep into stoppage time, Moffi combined brilliantly with Gomes, sliding home a well-delivered cross to put the result beyond doubt and make it 3–1.

The win extends Porto’s unbeaten home run to 12 league matches and moves them four points clear of second-placed Sporting CP. SL Benfica sit third, 10 points behind, though with a game in hand.

Porto will now shift focus to the first leg of the Taça de Portugal semifinal against Sporting CP on Tuesday — a highly anticipated clash between the league rivals, who have already met twice this season, with Porto recording one win and one draw.
