Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has stirred conversations online after speaking out on the recent killings in Jos, expressing deep heartbreak and calling for humanity above politics.

His reaction follows the deadly attack in Angwan Rukuba, where several lives were reportedly lost, leaving the community in mourning.

“I Choose the People”

Taking to his Instagram page, Ninalowo made it clear that he would rather stand with Nigerians than remain silent, even if it means reflecting on past positions.

“I choose to be a voice for the people, not for any government. The tragic events in Jos broke my heart,” he wrote.

In a reflective tone, the actor admitted he may have made statements in the past that no longer align with his values, but insisted that he cannot ignore the suffering of Nigerians.

“I may have made a misaligned call in the past… but I cannot stay silent when I realise I may have overlooked my core values.”

Not Politics, But Humanity

He stressed that his stance is not about politics but about empathy and the value of human lives, adding that staying quiet in the face of such tragedies is not an option.

“My hope is for change, not political support. Nigerians are bleeding, and I will not be ignorant of that reality.”

His message has resonated with many Nigerians who share similar concerns over insecurity and the urgent need for real action.

More Reactions Trail Incident

In a related development, fellow actor Kunle Remi also expressed anger and heartbreak, describing a viral video as his personal birthday message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while hoping it reaches him.

As more public figures continue to speak up, the conversation around insecurity in the country is gaining momentum, with many calling for accountability and lasting solutions.
