Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has resumed training following his recent injury, offering a positive update for Galatasaray as he continues his recovery process.

The club confirmed that the forward has returned to gym-based sessions after suffering a fractured right forearm in March. His return marks an important step forward after undergoing surgery earlier in the month.

Injury Setback

Osimhen picked up the injury during a UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool, after a collision with defender Ibrahima Konaté. The incident forced him off and required surgical treatment shortly after.

Gradual Recovery

According to the club, the surgery was successful, and Osimhen is now progressing well under the supervision of the medical team. His current training is limited to light sessions as part of a carefully managed rehabilitation plan.

Galatasaray are taking a cautious approach, ensuring that the striker regains full fitness before returning to competitive matches. As of now, no official date has been set for his comeback.

Positive Signs for the Team

Osimhen has been one of the standout performers for Galatasaray this season, and his absence was a significant blow during a crucial phase of the campaign.

However, his return to training is a strong sign of progress and a boost for the team, with fans hopeful that he will be back on the pitch soon.
