Fresh claims have surfaced online challenging earlier reports that social media personality King Mitchy had passed away.
A woman on X insisted that the viral death rumours are false, citing what she described as a response from Grok.
Claims dismiss death rumours

In her post, she firmly stated, “King Mitchy IS NOT DEAD!!!” adding that she refused to accept the news without official confirmation.
According to her, Grok labelled the circulating reports as “a lie, pure lie about the news.” She further claimed that although King Mitchy allegedly consumed hypo, she was quickly rushed to a hospital in Abuja, where she received treatment and was later discharged alive.
Mother allegedly speaks out

The woman also alleged that King Mitchy’s mother released a video on TikTok addressing the rumours. In the clip, she reportedly prayed and ended her message with the words, “back to sender,” in a move aimed at dismissing the claims about her daughter’s death.
The new development comes after days of intense online reactions and widespread confusion surrounding the situation.
Backlash and apology
The lady behind the latest post revealed that she faced heavy criticism over her earlier comments on the matter.
“Yesterday I was dragged and they even mass reported my post. Many called me names and gave me threats,” she wrote.
She explained that she deleted her previous post because the information had not been fully verified.
“I was wrong, I acknowledged it and let the drama flow,” she added.
Concluding her message, she urged people not to take drastic actions over online conflicts.
“Nothing is worth your life and peace. Please don’t drink hypo!!!” she wrote, emphasizing the importance of prioritising mental health and personal safety over social media disputes.
