
A Lagos commuter, Yushab Abolore Ayomide, has shared a dramatic encounter with a persistent beggar at Ikorodu Garage, recounting how a routine trip turned into a lesson the man reportedly won’t forget. The incident happened earlier this week while Ayomide was travelling to Oshodi.
From Ordinary Commute to Unexpected Confrontation
Ayomide had initially planned to board a BRT bus but left the queue after realizing he had forgotten his wallet. Opting for a mini-bus instead, he soon noticed a beggar following him relentlessly, asking for money to cover transport costs.
“I already knew the werey just wan lie collect money. So I gave him audience, and he entered my trap. I told him, ‘Don’t worry, God will handle it,’ but in my mind, I knew I would handle him personally,” Ayomide recalled.
