A woman has sparked fresh conversations online after reacting emotionally to reports that philanthropist King Mitchy had been pronounced dead.
Sharing her thoughts on X, the lady expressed shock and concern while also weighing in on the ongoing controversy between King Mitchy and VeryDarkMan.
Allegations and online clash
In her post, she claimed that King Mitchy initiated the conflict by confronting VeryDarkMan.
“It’s only someone who doesn’t know VeryDarkMan that will attack him unprovoked,” she wrote.
She added, “If you go for VeryDarkMan, you will be the victim. If VeryDarkMan comes for you, you will still be the victim.”
Addressing the controversy surrounding donations to VeryDarkMan’s foundation, she acknowledged that he has not yet provided a full public account of the funds. However, she argued that he has contributed in other ways.
“Yes, VDM hasn’t given any account for the donation made so far to the foundation, but how about other things he has been doing?” she stated.
She explained that she once shared similar concerns but later reconsidered her position.
“There was a time I also thought about this. I asked questions and from the results, VeryDarkMan has done a lot worth more than that,” she wrote.
Controversial statements
The woman suggested that King Mitchy should have known when to “draw the line and stop,” referencing the claim that she renovated a school in six days.
“She said she renovated a school in under six days. VDM said he’s going on Monday to see the school, then she said the work is starting on Monday,” she wrote.
She also referenced remarks allegedly made by VeryDarkMan about the Ooni of Ife, in which he expressed disappointment over the way the monarch was addressed. In the same breath, she noted that he had given a shout-out to the Alaafin of Oyo.
Emotional appeal
Turning to the reports that King Mitchy allegedly consumed a harmful substance, the woman expressed distress.
“Now she drank hypo for what? It doesn’t worth it honestly,” she wrote.
She urged people not to allow online disputes or public criticism to push them toward drastic decisions.
“No amount of dragging and drama should make you drink hypo or sniper! It doesn’t worth it please!” she stated.
She also appealed to individuals to consider their loved ones and the long-term impact of their actions.
“Think about your parents, your friends, your brand… It doesn’t worth it please!!!”
Ending her message on an emotional note, she wrote, “I truly hope to hear good news about her before tomorrow. Please don’t take any substance because of online dragging and drama! I don’t know why I’m crying over this.”
Her post has since added to the intense conversations surrounding the situation, with many echoing her call for restraint, compassion, and mental health awareness in the face of online conflict.
