Content creator King Mitchy has publicly addressed social commentator VeryDarkMan, urging him to take action regarding funds donated by Nigerians to his NGO.

It will be recalled that in 2024, supporters reportedly raised over ₦350 million for VeryDarkMan’s foundation. However, the activist has yet to provide a detailed public breakdown of how the funds will be spent, sparking growing conversations online.

In a video statement, King Mitchy clarified that her comments were not driven by personal dislike. According to her, the issue is accountability and visible impact. She expressed concern that the hundreds of millions of naira donated for school renovation projects have allegedly remained unused for nearly two years, with no clear progress shown to the public.

She questioned why the activist continues to produce content centered on trending topics and online controversies instead of focusing on renovating schools — which many believed was the primary goal of the donations.

King Mitchy also offered to support the initiative by providing locations of damaged schools, stating that she would be willing to help identify communities genuinely in need of intervention.

In her words:

“VeryDarkMan, I don’t dislike you. No be everything be fight. All I am saying is you need to get to work, bro. I changed that school in six days. You have held the donated funds for almost two years now and you keep making content on Mirabel, Harrison… instead of renovating schools. If you need locations of schools that are bad and damaged, I’ll show you.”

Her remarks have since fueled fresh debates on social media, with many calling for transparency and accountability regarding the donated funds, while others argue that proper planning and structure may take time.
