A Nigerian woman has sparked reactions online after openly sharing her firm stance on infidelity in marriage.

Although she says she is happily married, the woman made it clear that cheating is a non-negotiable dealbreaker in her relationship.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @feeztm, she explained that both she and her husband share the same understanding: once infidelity is discovered, the marriage is over—no exceptions.

In her words:

“I’m married, yes, but the day my husband cheats on me, my marriage is over—except I don’t know or never find out.”

“But if I find out, the marriage is over—because my husband has also made it clear that if I cheat and he discovers it, the marriage will be over.”

She stressed that forgiveness should not be one-sided, noting that both partners must be held to the same standards for a marriage to truly work.

Her comments have since divided opinions online. While some users argued that a zero-tolerance stance leaves little room for growth or human error in marriage, others praised her honesty and clarity.

One commentator wrote, “It’s harsh but honest. If both partners agree, then that’s the rule of the house.”
Another critic disagreed, saying, “You’re not ready for marriage. What makes you think you have equal rights in marriage?”
