Nkechi Blessing Sunday Warns Fans Against Secretly Filming Her and Partner
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has issued a strong warning to members of the public over secretly recording her and her partner during outings.
In a recent video statement, the actress clarified that although she is a public figure, she has deliberately chosen to keep her current relationship private and away from social media.
Actress Recounts Restaurant Incident
Nkechi shared that she recently experienced an uncomfortable situation while out at a restaurant with her partner. According to her, a woman was allegedly filming them without their knowledge.
A waitress reportedly alerted her to the recording, prompting Nkechi to approach the woman calmly and request that she stop.
She said she found the act disrespectful, especially as her partner prefers to stay off the internet.
“I Won’t Tolerate It Again”
While stressing that she appreciates her fans, Nkechi explained that she has no issue with people approaching her directly for photos or videos.
“I am a public figure. If you want a picture or a video, walk up to me. I don’t bite,” she said.
However, she strongly condemned unsolicited recordings, particularly involving her partner, who does not wish to be featured online.
Nkechi made it clear that she would not tolerate similar behavior in the future, warning that anyone caught secretly recording her and her partner risks having their phone damaged.
She emphasized that when and if she chooses to introduce her partner to the public, it will be on her own terms.
The actress concluded by urging fans and members of the public to respect her boundaries and privacy whenever they encounter her outside.
