An X user has shared a painful experience after discovering his Cuban gold chain went missing shortly after inviting his ex-girlfriend to his birthday celebration.
The user, @big-dada3, revealed that he and his ex parted ways in December 2025. Despite the breakup, he decided to invite her to his birthday party.
Birthday Night Takes an Unexpected Turn
According to him, when she arrived at the party, he welcomed her warmly, and they later ended up sleeping in the same hotel room. However, he was surprised when she prepared to leave early the next morning before he had even woken up. He said he booked a cab for her departure.
After she left, he joined his friends in another room to avoid being alone. It wasn’t until he began packing up to leave the hotel that he noticed his Cuban gold chain was missing.
“After she left, I didn’t want to be alone, so I went to my friend’s room to chill with them. When it was time to leave the hotel, I started packing my things and noticed that my Cuban gold chain was missing from my cross bag,” he recounted.
His friends reportedly confirmed that he had the chain with him when he entered the hotel room with his ex-girlfriend.
Attempts to Reach Her
The X user said he contacted his ex about the missing chain, but she denied having seen it.
“I was confused because I clearly remember putting it in my bag before sleeping,” he explained. “I asked her to come back so I could check her bag, but she hasn’t answered my calls since then.”
