A Nigerian woman has recounted a dramatic experience she had at a bridal shower in 2023, where what was supposed to be a joyful pre-wedding celebration descended into chaos after an unexpected revelation.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), she explained that all the bridesmaids were added to a WhatsApp group to coordinate plans, pay for outfits, and prepare for the big day.
“Twenty-one bridesmaids didn’t sit right with me, especially since her sister-in-law was one of us. I knew there would be drama, but I had no idea how it would erupt,” she recalled.
The bridal shower itself was classy, complete with decorations, cakes, and food.
During the event, the bridesmaids took turns sharing their thoughts about the bride and offering advice. But when it came to one particular lady’s turn, things took a shocking and unexpected turn.
“She stood up and started reminiscing about the good times they had, and then she casually mentioned a threesome she once had with the bride and an IJGB years ago, adding that she wished to experience it again if the bride wasn’t getting married.
Her sister-in-law was right there. She heard everything, got up, and left the room,” the attendee recounted.
The room fell into stunned silence. The bride, overwhelmed by the revelation, covered her face with her hands, and everyone else quietly left the table.
The chaos didn’t end there. The following morning, the bride’s sister reportedly went around knocking on the bridal ladies’ doors, instructing them not to bother getting dressed, as the wedding had officially been cancelled.
“It was a very crazy experience,” the woman concluded.
