A Nigerian soldier has generated reactions online after lamenting the theft of his motorcycle.
In a viral video making rounds on X (formerly Twitter), shared by @ChuksEricE, he voiced his anger at the thief and warned that anyone who steals from him would face divine punishment.
According to him, he said:
“You who went and stole my bike, the one you took from me, I swear God will punish you. Why would you steal my bike? I swear God will punish you.”
The soldier explained that the motorcycle, which he had been carefully managing, was recently valued at ₦1.1 million, emphasizing the significant personal and financial loss he had endured.
“Bike wey I dey manage, I went to check the price and it’s now ₦1.1 million. Where do you expect me to get that kind of money from?” he added.
The video has since sparked widespread reactions online.
Many social media users sympathized with the soldier, while others expressed concerns over the poor welfare of military personnel, questioning why the loss of a bike would cause such deep distress.
