A Nigerian lady has stirred intense reactions online after openly criticising men who flooded her inbox following her revelation that she lost ₦7 million in an unsuccessful venture.
In a viral TikTok video, she expressed frustration over the surge of unsolicited messages she received after sharing her financial setback. According to her, many of the men reaching out appeared more interested in the amount she mentioned than her situation.
She explained that since posting the video, her direct messages have been filled with advances from men, many of whom, she claimed, were not financially stable. Some allegedly promised to take care of her in the future, while others offered to “serve” her despite their current circumstances.
Clearly irritated, she stated that she has no interest in such proposals, stressing that she cannot be in a relationship where she has to manage a partner’s financial struggles.
According to her, individuals should focus on improving themselves rather than seeking relationships they are not ready for. She added that she does not want a partner who is financially dependent, making it clear that stability is a priority for her.
