Social media activist VeryDarkMan has reacted sharply to comments by Omoyele Sowore, who recently pledged to secure the release of businessman BLord following his reported detention.
BLord, whose real name is Linus Williams Ifejirika, was said to have been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre over allegations linked to defamation. The development drew attention after Sowore publicly stated that he would intervene to ensure the businessman regains his freedom.
VDM Responds Strongly
Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan issued a stern warning, challenging Sowore’s involvement in the matter and insisting that the case should not be interfered with.
In a video circulating online, he questioned Sowore’s intentions and dared him to follow through on his statement, making it clear he would not back down from the case.
Allegations Against BLord
VDM also used the moment to restate his claims against BLord, accusing him of using his identity without consent to promote business ventures.
According to him, BLord allegedly used his image to create promotional content, including posts suggesting he would appear at an event in Onitsha. He further claimed that false endorsements were made in his name, including statements linking him to the promotion of an app.
VDM alleged that billboards and advertisements were produced using his image, alongside claims that he had been paid a large sum as a brand ambassador — assertions he insists are completely false.
Case Still Unfolding
He maintained that the alleged actions misrepresented him publicly and could have misled unsuspecting individuals.
As tensions rise around the case, attention remains on how the legal proceedings will unfold and whether Sowore will take further steps as promised.
