Popular relationship expert Blessing CEO has spoken candidly about her ongoing battle with breast cancer, offering more clarity on her condition following earlier emotional disclosures that sparked widespread reactions online.
During a live session on Instagram with media personality Daddy Freeze, she revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer at a hospital in Nigeria after discovering a lump in July last year. According to her, the diagnosis was confirmed in early January, but her medical report did not clearly specify the stage of the illness.
“I discovered a lump in July, and by January I was told it was cancerous. I’m preparing for a mastectomy to understand how far it has spread. I don’t know the exact stage yet, but I will share my report soon,” she explained.
She also addressed concerns surrounding her earlier appeal for financial support, noting that the uncertainty of treatment costs influenced her decision to seek help.
Blessing CEO said she did not provide a fixed amount because she was unsure of the full medical expenses, which could include surgery, therapy, and other procedures. She admitted that she may have exaggerated aspects of her situation while trying to prepare for the unknown.
“I didn’t state a specific amount. I was trying to plan ahead because I didn’t know what to expect,” she said in response to criticism.
Her clarification comes days after a viral video in which she appeared emotional and claimed to be battling stage four cancer — a statement that drew mixed reactions from the public.
While some sympathized with her situation, others questioned the inconsistencies in her claims, with a few critics accusing her of seeking attention or financial support without adequate transparency.
Despite the controversy, Blessing CEO maintained that she is focused on her health and will provide more details about her condition in due time.
“I was diagnosed with br3@$t cancer at a Nigerian hospital, I don’t know the stage because the stage was not written on the report. I am not yet ready to share my hospital report but I will share it soon.”
