Veteran Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has once again stirred public conversation after delivering a strong critique of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during a live performance in Edo State.
In a video now circulating online, the outspoken artiste questioned the government’s handling of national issues, particularly insecurity. He also referenced the President’s recent visit to Jos following attacks in Plateau State, suggesting that the response did not directly address affected communities.
According to him:
“Tinubu is the worst president… He went to Jos to console victims but didn’t visit the affected community.”
He further criticised supporters of the ruling party, adding that Nigerians will ultimately judge the administration’s performance over time.
His remarks come at a time when conversations around governance and security remain prominent across the country, with citizens expressing mixed reactions to recent developments.
This is not the first time the rapper has taken a public stance on political issues. Known for using his music as a form of activism, he previously released the protest track “Tell Your Papa,” which gained significant attention despite facing a broadcast ban from the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Eedris Abdulkareem continues to position himself as a vocal critic of leadership, using both music and public appearances to highlight concerns about governance in Nigeria.
Do you think public figures should openly criticise the government, or should they stay neutral?
“Tinubu is the wørst president. Anyone supporting APC, may Nigeria happen to you. He went to Jos to console victims but didn’t visit the affected community. Seyi said he’s doing well, if true, we’ll confirm it”
