
A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her emotional experience watching the trending movie Behind The Scenes.
The film, produced by Funke Akindele and Wendy Uwadiae Imasuen, tells the story of Aderonke ‘Ronky-Fella’ Faniran — a successful real estate entrepreneur whose kindness to others begins to backfire.
Taking to Facebook, the lady identified as Adedera Bose Folashade revealed that the movie left her deeply emotional, to the point of physical discomfort.
According to her, the intense storyline and life lessons hit so hard that she has been dealing with a lingering headache since watching it.
“If you’re very emotional, please don’t watch it o 😭 I’ve had a headache since yesterday after watching it and it still hasn’t gone away,” she wrote.
She also hinted at the deeper message of the film — how people you help or trust can sometimes turn around and hurt you, a theme that resonated strongly with viewers.
Her post has since triggered conversations online, with many agreeing that the movie is not just entertaining but emotionally heavy and thought-provoking.
Meanwhile, Behind The Scenes continues to break records at the box office, reportedly grossing over ₦2.57 billion in Nigeria. It has also set new milestones as one of Nollywood’s fastest-rising films, crossing the ₦1 billion mark in record time and pulling massive daily earnings.
