A Nigerian lawyer has stirred reactions after sharing his frustration over what he described as yet another wasted day in court.
According to him, he spent money and time preparing and showing up, only to be told that the court would not be sitting.
He pointed out that this has become a common experience for many legal practitioners and litigants, who often bear the cost of transport and time without any progress on their cases.
What made his statement gain more attention was his comparison with election cases. He noted that election tribunals are usually set up quickly and resolved within a short timeframe, while cases affecting everyday Nigerians face repeated delays.
