“They Framed Me and Tried to Take Everything” — Man Cries Out Over Alleged Police Ordeal in Ekiti 😳💔

A Nigerian man has sparked concern online after sharing his alleged experience with police officers in Ekiti State, claiming he was wrongfully arrested, detained, and almost stripped of his belongings.

According to his account, he was travelling when officers suddenly stopped him without clear reason and took him to a police station — despite him recording the entire encounter.

“They asked me if I think Nigeria is America. They said they will show me the real Nigeria,” he claimed.

He further alleged that officers threatened to seize his car and properties, while also collecting his phone and the little cash he had on him.

Things reportedly escalated when he was taken to court and accused of assaulting an officer and driving a stolen vehicle — claims he insists were completely false.

“All my documents were complete. I even just renewed them,” he said, adding that his camera glasses captured everything.

The situation took a serious turn when he was remanded in prison over the allegations.

However, after spending time in detention, he was brought before the court again, where the judge reportedly struck out the case, describing it as baseless — leading to his release.

The story has since triggered reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing fear and calling for accountability.
