Moniepoint’s CEO recently said he struggles to find Nigerian professionals who meet global standards. The man heard him and decided to respond.
“Sir, I understand you want to compete globally. But let me ask you something,” he said in a viral video. 📹
Then he broke it down. In the UK, companies pay about £13 per hour. That is N20,000 every hour. For someone working 9 to 5, that is N160,000 daily. Monthly? Over N3 million. 💷🇬🇧
He turned to the camera. “Are you paying that, sir?”
He said if Moniepoint is offering N2 million to N2.5 million monthly, he would pack his bags and come back to Nigeria. He would even call his friends. ✈️
But if the company is paying N300,000 or N400,000 and still demanding London-level results? He smiled small. “I should just keep quiet.” 😅
