A Nigerian lady has shared her marriage story, and it is terrifying. Not the kind of story you forget. 🗣️

She said her husband would call her at 3 a.m. to wake up and cook semo and egusi. Not once in a while. Regularly. While she was sick. While she was tired. While she was breaking. 💀

She kept getting infections almost every week because he was sleeping around. Reckless. Dirty. He didn’t care.

But the worst part? Their two-month-old baby would cry from hunger. He would lock the child in the bathroom. A tiny baby. In a dark bathroom. Alone. Crying. 😭

When she had a miscarriage and started bleeding, he didn’t take her to the hospital. He let her bleed. He ignored her.

She couldn’t even eat without asking for permission. Even noodles. She had to beg to eat noodles in her own house.

She is out now. The marriage is over. But the scars remain.

The internet is heartbroken. One person wrote: “This is not marriage. This is slavery.” Another said: “A man who locks his own baby in the bathroom deserves jail, not a wife.” 😤

Someone else added: “3 a.m. semo and egusi? While she has infections from his cheating? Evil.”

A different voice said: “She survived. Many don’t.”
