A Nigerian businessman named Festus has gone viral. He saw the Chike and Frank Edoho drama. And he decided to change his ways.
In a Facebook post, he said he has been more intentional with his wife. He reminded her about her hair and offered to pay for it. He wanted to take her out and spoil her. He cuddled her tightly at night.
Then he dropped the real reason.
He used to close work at 5:30pm. Now he closes at 3:30pm. Just to go home and be with his wife. He said he doesn’t care if his sales boy steals anything. His marriage comes first.
“Fear of Chike is the beginning of wisdom,” one person commented.
The internet is loving it. Another person wrote: “This man saw what happened to Frank Edoho and adjusted immediately.” Someone else said: “Chike has now become a warning to every married man.”
The Chike effect is real. And Festus is not taking any chances.
