Popular content creator Broda Mike has called out social media critic VeryDarkMan for staying politically neutral while complaining about bad governance.
He asked a direct question: “You claim President Tinubu is a failure, but who are you supporting to change the situation?”
Broda Mike argued that Nigerians should stop blaming the president alone. “It is me and you that are failures because we can’t use our online voices to change bad governance.”
He praised blogger Tunde Ednut for openly supporting Peter Obi despite living abroad. Then he turned back to VeryDarkMan. “Tunde Ednut picked a side. Why can’t you?”
He warned that Nigerians will continue to suffer until citizens collectively decide to speak up and demand change. “Everybody will continue to feel this heat until we all wake up.”
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “He has a point. If you are not supporting anyone, your complaints are just noise.” Another said: “VeryDarkMan does not need to support any politician to criticize bad governance.”
Someone else added: “Neutrality is not the problem. The problem is leaders who fail the people.”
The debate is heating up ahead of the 2027 elections.
