A Nigerian lady has voiced what many workers are feeling but cannot say out loud. The job market is exhausting. And the pay? Insulting. 😩

After four months of searching, she is tired. Not tired of working — tired of the offers she is getting. She has a Master’s degree. She has ten years of experience. And companies are offering her between ₦350,000 and ₦400,000. Meanwhile, she was expecting ₦1 to ₦2 million. 📉

In a video that has since gone viral, she opened up about her frustration. She said the things she has experienced during this job hunt almost make her understand why some people turn to fraud. That is how bad it has gotten. 😔

Her words struck a nerve. Many Nigerians flooded the comments with their own stories. Some said they have similar qualifications but earn even less. Others said she is lucky to be getting six-figure offers at all. And a few agreed completely  that the system is broken when a Master’s degree plus a decade of experience cannot fetch a living wage. 💔

The conversation has now shifted beyond one woman’s complaint. It is about the value of education in Nigeria. About what experience is really worth. And about why so many qualified people are either underpaid, unemployed, or looking for the nearest exit.
