A man claiming to be a police officer has gone viral after a video where he vented his frustration and issued a chilling warning.
He complained about years of poor welfare, neglect, and suffering within the force.
“Twenty-six years here we dey suffer every day. Any day wey I dey work duty, make somebody video me, that oga wey give una order go be the one to bury una.”
He said officers cannot even afford their uniforms. He accused the system of abandoning them while they risk their lives daily.
However, he praised the current Inspector General for trying to improve benefits for families of fallen officers.
“Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop,” he added.
The video has sparked heated debate. Some sympathize with his frustration. Others say his threat is unacceptable.
