A man has sparked widespread reactions online after sharing what he describes as a painful experience involving financial double standards.
In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), he recounted how he once asked a friend for £20 during a difficult period but was turned down.
According to him, he was shocked to later discover that the same person sent £200 to another woman simply because he found her attractive.
In his words:
“The same guy I asked for £20 last year when I was really down bad sent a girl £200 just for being beautiful. I asked you for £20 and you said no, but you sent £200 to another girl.”
He said the experience changed how he views money, relationships, and why many women raise their expectations when it comes to dating.

“That’s why I don’t have an issue with women raising their standards, because you people are literally giving these girls money for free. Anyway, it’s your money,” he added.
