A Nigerian landlady has gone viral after accusing her tenant of doing the unthinkable — fencing her husband’s compound without permission.
In a video circulating online, the visibly distressed woman called for public intervention, insisting the tenant went too far while her husband was away.
She claimed the tenant simply took control of the property and started building a fence as he pleased.
But the tenant had a different story 👀
According to him, the decision was based on “security concerns” in the country — and he insisted he used his own money to do it.
👉 “I have to fence this place because of security problems… I used my money. You should even thank me,” he said.
That statement sparked even more tension as the landlady fired back, questioning how a tenant can take such a decision on a property he does not own.
The confrontation has since divided social media users, with many debating who is right — the landlord or the tenant.
👀 NOW OVER TO YOU:
- Was the tenant protecting the house or crossing boundaries? 😳
- If you were the landlord, would you be angry or grateful?
- Can a tenant ever justify “improving” a property without permission?
- Is this security mindset or outright disrespect? 🔥
- Who is right in this situation — landlady or tenant? 👀
