Lady sparks heated debate over student readiness and independence
A Nigerian woman has triggered widespread reactions online after sharing her opinion on what she believes determines a student’s readiness for higher education.
According to her, a candidate who cannot independently find their way to a Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination centre may not be fully prepared for university life.
She argued that beyond academic knowledge, students should also demonstrate basic independence and life skills, including the ability to navigate unfamiliar locations.
