Veteran Nollywood actor Richards Oguntimehin, popularly known as Don Richard, has shut down viral reports claiming he is dead.
Rumours had circulated online alleging that the actor passed away on April 23, 2026, due to kidney failure ā sparking panic among fans and colleagues.
However, Don Richard quickly addressed the situation via Instagram, making it clear that the reports are completely false.
According to him, he is alive, healthy, and doing well, while also calling out bloggers for spreading unverified information.
āThereās nothing wrong with meā¦ Iām alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo,ā he said.
He also appreciated fans for their concern, even as he criticized the spread of fake news online.
The incident has once again raised concerns about misinformation on social media, with many calling for better verification before sharing sensitive news.
