A Nigerian man has shared a shocking story about his boss’s wife who traveled abroad and disappeared from the family for over a decade.
According to @papshine_t on X, the woman traveled to Dubai. Upon arrival, she called her husband and two children. Then she stopped contacting them completely.
The husband was left to raise their two sons alone. Eventually, he moved the children to his mother-in-law’s care and remarried another woman to help raise them.
Now, after 11 years, the first wife has returned to Nigeria. She wants to take the children overseas. The husband has refused.
She is now threatening legal action.
The internet is reacting strongly. One person wrote: “You can’t disappear for eleven years and then come back expecting to take the children like nothing happened. It’s not that simple.”
Another said: “How does she intend to win this war? Even the children would not want to go with her after all these years of neglect.”
Someone else added: “After being absent for so many years, suddenly reappearing and demanding to take children? She should go to court. She can’t win the case.”
A different voice said: “This is complicated. They should settle it in court.”
The story has sparked a heated debate about parental rights, abandonment, and what is fair to the children.
What do you think ย does she have a right to take the children after 11 years of absence?
