Popular TikTok creator Otweytwey has sparked reactions online after revealing details about her past marriage following her recent breakup with Afrobeat singer C-Nero.
In an interview currently circulating on X, the social media personality opened up about her wedding, explaining that many people were unaware of what actually happened behind the scenes during the ceremony.
Otweytwey shares details about her wedding
According to the influencer, she personally handled nearly all the expenses associated with the wedding.
She claimed she paid for everything involved in the ceremony, including the ring used during the event.
“I sponsored my wedding. I paid for everything for the wedding, everything, down to the ring. I married myself. Down to the ring,” she said.
Otweytwey added that she even gave her husband money to spray during the celebration so it would not appear unusual to guests.
“I even withdrew my money for him to spray that day. It would have been awkward if I was the only one spraying him, so I had to withdraw money for him too. I used my money for everything,” she explained.

Earlier this year, the content creator — who is a mother of one — announced that she and her husband had separated after about two years of marriage.
She stated at the time that they were no longer compatible as a couple but were willing to maintain a cooperative relationship while co-parenting their child.
