A Nigerian man living in the UK has sparked serious conversations online after sharing what he described as a troubling experience with his pastor — and people are divided 👀
According to his post, everything started shortly after he relocated abroad. What seemed like normal spiritual guidance quickly turned into something else — frequent requests for money.
At first, he didn’t mind. He gave willingly, believing he was supporting a spiritual leader.

The man explained that he had to slow down financially because he was trying to sort out his life and even save towards buying a car. Naturally, he expected understanding.

“I thought he understood me,” he said, “only for him to message me again asking for money.”

According to him, the pastor claimed he had been praying and making spiritual sacrifices on his behalf, even going as far as mentioning “mountains he had climbed” because of him.
