Popular Nigerian comedian I Go Save has set social media buzzing after calling out internet providers over what he described as the “mysterious disappearance” of data in Nigeria.
In a viral video, the comedian expressed frustration at how a data plan meant to last for one month could vanish within just a few hours.
According to him, the situation is not only confusing but also very suspicious.
“Dem go tell you say you subscribe for one month, e no even reach how many hours, the thing don finish… I download house?” he said.
His statement, delivered with his usual comic style, quickly got people laughing but many agreed he was actually speaking facts.
I Go Save didn’t stop there. He went on to accuse internet providers of taking advantage of Nigerians, especially at a time when the cost of living is already high.
“Internet providers dey defraud Nigerians badly. How person wey no too get take dey cope?” he added.
Taking it a step further, he even dragged the government into the conversation, calling on the president to look into the issue.
“Tinubu, you no dey use data? Your own no dey quick finish? Abroad if dem say one month, one month na one month. Nigeria own go just last two days. Which kind wayo be this?”
In his usual dramatic tone, he joked that with the way things are going, even billionaires might start managing data.
“With the way wey dem dey do, I dey sure say even Dangote go dey off him data,” he said.
As expected, Nigerians didn’t hold back in the comment section:

Another said, “Na only WhatsApp I open, next thing low data. Wetin I do?? 😭”

While the video has left many people laughing, it also highlights a growing concern among Nigerians about data usage and transparency.
As internet access becomes more important for work, business, and everyday life, many are now calling for better service and accountability from telecom providers.
