The veteran entertainer recently revisited the day he publicly confronted former Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha during his father’s funeral. The video of him grabbing the microphone from the politician went viral back then. Now he is explaining why. 🎤
Interviewer asked him: Was it a crime?
Charly Boy’s response? “I for don slap am.” 😳
He said Okorocha was trying to turn his father’s burial into a political campaign ground. And he was not having it. Not on that day. Not at that place. Not when he was around. 💀
“You don’t do that kind of bullshit,” he added.
He said he asked the former governor to leave. And despite all the bodyguards surrounding Okorocha, Charly Boy made it clear “He knew he was in my territory.” 👑
Years later, the story still makes people talk. Some call him brave. Others say he went too far. But Charly Boy says he did what any son would do. Protect his father’s respect. Even from a governor. 💔
