A Nigerian man has gone viral online after sharing his frustration over life’s struggles despite being well-educated.

In a video circulating on social media, he reflected on his school days, recalling debates where students were often asked to argue that education is more valuable than money.

Looking back, he questioned the advice he was given, saying that after completing his education, he still finds himself struggling financially and constantly searching for money to survive.

He also expressed disappointment with teachers who encouraged students to defend that idea, suggesting that real-life experience has made him reconsider the message.

He said:

“Abi all those debates we did when I was small, saying ‘Education is better than money’… na them dey affect me now? Back then, we argued with full confidence, while those wicked teachers who knew the truth just let us say it. We used to think we were convincing people, but now I am confused. Those teachers never told the truth. See person life now, all that education and still, I dey struggle for money.”

The video has resonated with many, sparking conversations online about the challenges of education versus financial reality.
