A Nigerian lady, @Deseiye on X, has shared a tear-jerking encounter at a POS stand that left everyone speechless.
She narrated how a teenager walked up to a POS agent with just β¦500 β not for data or snacks, but to send to his sick mother. When the agent asked where his mum was, the boy said she was ill and the doctor refused to treat her until payment was made first. No money, no care.
The crowd went silent. Then a woman stepped in and asked, “How much is the treatment?” That one question opened hearts and wallets β donations poured in right there.
Reflecting on it, she wrote: “That day, I realized something β in Nigeria, people are struggling, but they still show up for one another.”
Reactions trailedβ¦
Johnny Johnny said, “Nigerians dey try oh, especially when matter don too much for public eyes.”
